Insurance, Payment and Cancellation Policy
Dr. Gluck does not participate in any insurance networks, however she will provide you with a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before a scheduled appointment to avoid charges for the missed session.
Approach
During your initial consultation, Dr. Gluck will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric assessment, which includes understanding your past history, current life stressors, goals for treatment as well as your strengths. She then makes recommendations tailored to your specific needs and preferences.
Treatments offered may include medication, psychotherapy or a combination of the two. Dr. Gluck also can participate in split treatments, focusing on medication management in collaboration with another therapist. While psychiatric medications can be effective for many disorders, Dr. Gluck is a conservative prescriber and understands that symptoms occur in a larger context of a person’s unique life history and circumstances.
In psychotherapy, Dr. Gluck mostly employs an insight-oriented, psychodynamic approach, though she may draw from other modalities such as short-term, supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy when appropriate.
